Welcome to BOXOKO ("Company", "we", "our", "us"), accessible via boxoko.com. BOXOKO provides an all-in-one digital marketing platform, including Bio Link pages, URL shortening, QR code generation, static site hosting, file transfers, event links, app deep-linking, and analytics (collectively, the "Services").

By accessing or using BOXOKO, creating an account, or subscribing to any of our plans, you ("User", "you") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services.

1. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the applicable rules and regulations in Dubai / Dubai Economy and Tourism (DET). Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the United Arab Emirates.

2. Eligibility & Account Registration

  • Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years old (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction) to register an account and use BOXOKO.
  • Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
  • Accurate Information: You agree to provide true, accurate, and current information during registration and keep your account details updated.

3. Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) & Prohibited Content

You agree to use BOXOKO in compliance with all applicable UAE regulations and international laws. You are strictly prohibited from using BOXOKO links, bio pages, QR codes, or hosted content to publish, promote, or distribute any of the following:

  • Content that violates the laws, public morality, religious beliefs, or social order of the United Arab Emirates.
  • Fraudulent schemes, phishing, scams, unauthorized affiliate spam, malware, or deceptive financial practices.
  • Illegal goods, narcotics, unauthorized pharmaceutical products, or counterfeit items.
  • Defamatory, abusive, violent, hateful, harassment, or adult/pornographic content.
  • Intellectual property infringement, including unauthorized copyright or trademark usage.
  • Unsolicited commercial email (spam) or automated link building.

Violation of these rules will result in immediate suspension or permanent termination of your account without prior notice or refund.

4. Custom Domains, Hosted Files & Content Responsibility

  • User Content Ownership: You retain ownership of all original content, links, files, and assets you upload or connect to BOXOKO.
  • License to Host: By uploading content or pointing custom domains to BOXOKO, you grant us a global, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating the Services.
  • File Hosting & Static Sites: You are solely responsible for ensuring that all files, HTML/CSS/JS scripts, and static sites hosted on BOXOKO comply with data security standards and do not contain malicious code or scripts.

5. Subscriptions, Payments & Cancellations

  • Pricing Plans: BOXOKO offers both Free/Basic plans and paid Tier/Subscription plans. Feature limits (such as Biolink pages, URL rotation, custom domains, and retention limits) are outlined on our Pricing page.
  • Billing & Renewals: Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring monthly or annual basis. You authorize us to charge your designated payment method for recurring fees.
  • Refund Policy: Payments are non-refundable once processed, except where required by applicable law or determined at our sole discretion.
  • Cancellation: You may cancel your plan subscription at any time through your Account Settings. Upon cancellation, your plan will remain active until the end of the current billing cycle.

6. Analytics, Tracking Pixels & Data Privacy

  • Privacy Policy: Our collection and processing of personal data are governed by our Privacy Policy, which strictly adheres to the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL - Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021), as well as global standards (GDPR, CCPA, PECR).
  • Tracking Pixels & UTMs: If you embed third-party tracking pixels (e.g., Meta Pixel, Google Analytics, TikTok Pixel) on your Biolink or Splash pages, you are solely responsible for obtaining the necessary consent from your end-visitors under applicable privacy regulations.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

The BOXOKO name, logo, website design, UI components, custom graphics, source code, and software infrastructure are the exclusive property of BOXOKO and its licensors. You may not copy, reverse engineer, modify, or rebrand any part of BOXOKO without explicit written permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

  • "As-Is" Provision: BOXOKO is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. While we strive for 99.9% service availability, we do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
  • Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by UAE law, BOXOKO and its directors, officers, or partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities arising from your use or inability to use the platform.

9. Termination & Account Deletion

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to BOXOKO at any time, with or without cause, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or applicable local and international laws. You may also request account deletion at any time via your account settings or by contacting support.

10. Modifications to Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our legal obligations or feature offerings. Updated versions will be posted on boxoko.com/page/terms with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of BOXOKO after any updates constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
